This Sunday we kick off our Summer Worship Series. Each Sunday will be a little different but our start time will still be 10:30 AM. Since the weather will be nice this weekend, we’ll set up outside. So, dress appropriately and wear sunscreen. We’ll be meeting around “the Table”. The Table that God has invited us to. The Table where Jesus feeds his people. We’ll read short passages from the book, We Will Feast: Rethinking Dinner, Worship, and the Community of God by Kendall Vanderslice. We’ll ask questions like, “What was the importance of sharing a meal to early Christians?” “What does communion mean to us?”  and we will share a light meal together. If you have a finger food in your pantry or refrigerator, bring it to share. Please don’t buy anything. Something simple like fruit, nuts, chips, cheese, or vegetables in a small dish would be great. Or if you have a few flowers from your garden, we can make bouquets for the Table. Be ready to write, discuss, draw, and sing about the significance of the Bread and the Cup–whatever you are inspired to do. See you on Sunday!

Adult Sunday School
