Our worship focuses on God through reading of the Word; prayer that listens and responds to the needs of the congregation; and music—both congregational singing and occasional choral anthems.
Several times a year we move our worship into our Fellowship Hall for an even more casual atmosphere.
Our ongoing prayer concerns
- For everyone in the wake of Hurricanes Milton and Helene–that they get the resources they need to recover
- Healing blessings for Cindy and Jeff and all family members after they spread Justin’s ashes at the beach
- Healing prayers for Pastor Chris Boyer as he recovers from bypass surgery
- For Pastor Stephen as he faces an appeal to his L&I case
- For our congregation as we transition to having a settled pastor again!
- For the Machinists and their families–that they reach a reasonable agreement with Boeing soon and return to work.
- Gratitude that we unanimously voted to call Pastor Ken Gray as our settled minister
- For the people of Kenya whose government is failing and for the Gituma/Guantai families
- For renewed strength for Roger as he recovers from surgery
- Praying for peace for those living in the Middle East as conflict worsens
- For military leaders that they may make wise decisions to spare lives
- The people living through war: Palestine and Israel; Ukraine and Russia
- Evergreen churches looking for new pastors: Grace Baptist, Filipino-American Christian Fellowship, Panther Lake Community Church, The United Church of Moscow
