Our worship focuses on God through reading of the Word; prayer that listens and responds to the needs of the congregation; and music—both congregational singing and occasional choral anthems.

Several times a year we move our worship into our Fellowship Hall for an even more casual atmosphere.

Our ongoing prayer concerns

  • For everyone in the wake of Hurricanes Milton and Helene–that they get the resources they need to recover
  • Healing blessings for Cindy and Jeff and all family members after they spread Justin’s ashes at the beach
  • Healing prayers for Pastor Chris Boyer as he recovers from bypass surgery
  • For Pastor Stephen as he faces an appeal to his L&I case
  • For our congregation as we transition to having a settled pastor again!
  • For the Machinists and their families–that they reach a reasonable agreement with Boeing soon and return to work.
  • Gratitude that we unanimously voted to call Pastor Ken Gray as our settled minister
  • For the people of Kenya whose government is failing and for the Gituma/Guantai families
  • For renewed strength for Roger as he recovers from surgery
  • Praying for peace for those living in the Middle East as conflict worsens
  • For military leaders that they may make wise decisions to spare lives
  • The people living through war: Palestine and Israel; Ukraine and Russia
  • Evergreen churches looking for new pastors: Grace Baptist, Filipino-American Christian Fellowship, Panther Lake Community Church, The United Church of Moscow
